once upon a time,

there was a big, fat (no, obese), mess of pearls, lace, sidewalks, cameras, depressing quotes, dead authors, dead poets, many dead people in fact, fiction, pale skin, cigarette smoke, yellowed books, distractions, cliches, memories, exceptions, stupid puns, perfume, shiny things, all things lovely, all things ugly, coffee, cupcakes, being alone but not being lonely, handwriting, feathers, notebooks, shoes, eyeliner, vodka, rabbits and other furry things, nostalgia, french kissing, children's games, wishful thinking, and very simple things. this mess was named "kissing broken things," for no good reason at all. at this moment in time, it is newborn. but soon it will be nice and plump. in other words, i'm purging the big mess in my head into a slightly smaller mess here.

and they all lived happily ever after.
